Mary Richardson

       Mary M. Richardson, age 81 of Anna, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, at her home. She was born May 31, 1942, in Anna, the daughter of Elmer and Lena (Bruner) Gibbs. She married Jerry Richardson on April 30, 1960.

       Mary worked over 20 years at Choate Mental Health as a technician and later as a supervisor. She loved to travel with Jerry, especially to the mountains. She was an avid reader and always enjoyed trips to the flea market. Her memories and caring spirit will be deeply missed.

       She is survived by her husband, Jerry Richardson, Sr. of Anna; children, Jerry Jr. (Ruth) Richardson of Anna, Claude (Chantell) Richardson of Melbourne, FL, Nina (Robert) McDaniel of Jonesboro, and Terry (Crystal) Richardson of Anna; grandchildren, Greg (Lisa) Richardson of Coco Beach, FL, Randy Richardson of Anna, Stephen Webb of Jonesboro, Tia (Mike) Aurthur of Carbondale, Rebecca (Patrick) Nesbit of Anna, Kyle (Ellie) McDaniel of Anna, Aaron McClure of Orlando, FL, Tyler (Katie) McDaniel of Anna, Logan Morse of Anna, Kanisha Alston of Carbondale, Noah (Erin) Richardson of Anna, and Connor Richardson of Anna; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Delores Barton of St. Charles, MO; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Paul, Charles, and Raymond Gibbs, and sisters, Mildred Earline Matthews and Lorene Benedette.
